Questions

Do I need a new phone number?

No. Keep your number and turn on conditional call forwarding (forward when busy or no answer). It's a one-time setting on your phone. We send you the exact steps for your carrier. You still answer when you can, and RingCatch only picks up the calls you miss.

Will callers know it's an AI?

Yes. It introduces itself as your business's virtual receptionist, and if someone asks, it says it's an AI assistant. Callers mostly care that someone picked up and that a real person will call back fast.

What about real emergencies?

It recognizes emergencies like active leaks, no heat, sparking and sewage backups, and flags them in the text. On Pro and Fleet it can also transfer the caller straight to your on-call phone. For gas smells, smoke or fire, it tells the caller to get out and call 911 first.

Does it quote prices or book appointments?

No, on purpose. It never guesses a price or promises an arrival time. It captures the job and promises a fast callback, so you stay in control of pricing and your schedule.

What does "20% of setup per month" cover?

Hosting, phone and AI costs up to your plan's minutes, monitoring, and ongoing fixes. If callers keep asking something it can't answer, we update it.

Can I cancel?

Yes. It's month-to-month after setup. Turn off call forwarding and let us know.
