🚨 EMERGENCY lead: Joe's Plumbing

Mike Chen · +1 416-555-0142

Plumbing: Burst pipe under kitchen sink, main now shut off

📍 42 Maple Ave, Etobicoke

Caller shut off the water. Wants a callback ASAP.

You were under another sink. RingCatch got the job anyway.
40–60% of calls to home-services businesses go unanswered. You're on a roof, under a house, or driving between jobs.

Voicemail loses the job

A homeowner with a flooded basement won't wait for a callback. They hang up and call the next plumber on Google.

Nights and weekends pay the most

Emergency calls come at 9 pm on a Saturday. Those are your best-paying jobs, and you're paying for ads that make the phone ring.

A receptionist costs $3,000+ a month

And they go home at 5. RingCatch answers every call, around the clock, for a fraction of that.

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us about your business

Your services, service area, hours and emergency policy. It takes 5 minutes with the form below.

  2. 2

It sets itself up in about a minute

Your answers become a receptionist that greets callers as "[Your Business]'s virtual receptionist" and knows your trade. It gets its own phone number, sent to you by email and text.

  3. 3

    Forward your missed calls

Change one setting on your phone: forward when busy or no answer. You still answer when you can. RingCatch picks up the rest.

  4. 4

    Get the lead by text

Name, callback number, job, address and urgency, plus a call summary and recording. Emergencies are flagged in red.

What it captures on every call

  • Name and a callback number it reads back to confirm
  • Job type: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing and more
  • What's wrong, in the caller's own words
  • Service address, checked against your service area
  • Urgency: emergency, today, this week or flexible
  • Spam filtered out: sales calls and robocalls never reach your phone

Hear how it sounds

A real-style call: 7:40 pm on a Tuesday, burst pipe. About 2 minutes, start to finish.

Hi, you've reached Joe's Plumbing & Heating's virtual receptionist. The team's tied up right now, but I can get you taken care of. What can we help you with today?

I've got water coming out from under my kitchen sink. I think a pipe burst.

Oh no, let's get someone on it. If you can, shut off the main water valve. It's usually where the water line comes into the house.

OK… got it. It's slowing down.

Good, that helps. Can I get your first and last name?

…name, number read back, address…

I'm flagging this as urgent and alerting the on-call team right now. The tech will call you back within 15 minutes, usually sooner.

It pays for itself with one job

Questions

Do I need a new phone number?

No. Keep your number and turn on conditional call forwarding (forward when busy or no answer). It's a one-time setting on your phone. We send you the exact steps for your carrier. You still answer when you can, and RingCatch only picks up the calls you miss.

Will callers know it's an AI?

Yes. It introduces itself as your business's virtual receptionist, and if someone asks, it says it's an AI assistant. Callers mostly care that someone picked up and that a real person will call back fast.

What about real emergencies?

It recognizes emergencies like active leaks, no heat, sparking and sewage backups, and flags them in the text. On Pro and Fleet it can also transfer the caller straight to your on-call phone. For gas smells, smoke or fire, it tells the caller to get out and call 911 first.

Does it quote prices or book appointments?

No, on purpose. It never guesses a price or promises an arrival time. It captures the job and promises a fast callback, so you stay in control of pricing and your schedule.

What does "20% of setup per month" cover?

Hosting, phone and AI costs up to your plan's minutes, monitoring, and ongoing fixes. If callers keep asking something it can't answer, we update it.

Can I cancel?

Yes. It's month-to-month after setup. Turn off call forwarding and let us know.
